On May 23rd, 2023, Capital Area Crime Stoppers will host our first event of the year, a social gathering. The event is attracting a diverse crowd of residents, law enforcement professionals, and community leaders from the surrounding areas. The event is organized by a team of dedicated volunteers from the Capital Area Crime Stoppers organization. We’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that everything was in place for the event, from the decorations to the auction items and drinks. The venue will be transformed into a festive and welcoming space, with colorful signs that read “Together We Can Make a Difference.”
As you arrive, you will be greeted by friendly volunteers and encouraged to sign in and mingle. The event will be a relaxed atmosphere, with people chatting and catching up with old friends, while also making new ones. There will be informational displays around the room, showcasing the different initiatives that the Capital Area Crime Stoppers organization is working on.
One of the highlights of the evening will be the keynote speech by the organization’s chairman, who will talk about the importance of community involvement in fighting crime and his personal story that connects a real-world experience to the organization. He’ll emphasize the role that each person can play in keeping their community safe, from reporting suspicious activity to volunteering with local law enforcement.
The event will include a raffle, with prizes generously donated by local businesses, prominent individuals, and organizations. The raffle will be a fun way to raise support for Capital Area Crime Stoppers, while also giving you the chance to win some fun and rare prizes.
